Karina Mandock Saldivar is an Atlanta based voice teacher and a classical singer. She believes that a good performer is able to freely express their most authentic self on stage, and she strives to reflect and pass on that idea in her own performances and teaching. She has had her own teaching studio since 2021, offering piano, voice, and flute for all ages. In 2025, she debuted with Capitol City Opera singing as Violetta in their Dinner and a Diva production of La Traviata. She also debuted with the Atlanta Opera in 2025 during the 96 Hour Opera Festival and worked with Rebecca and Rachel Gray on TransBliss TM a brand new work that won second place in the 96 Hour Opera Competition. Karina graduated with Highest Honors from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2019 with a B.S. in Applied Languages and Intercultural Studies and a minor in music. She received her M.M. in Vocal Pedagogy at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee in 2022. At Boston Conservatory, she explored her interest in culture and spoke on it in her Master’s lecture “Crossing Boundaries: Working with ELL Students in the Voice Studio”. She strives to make all her students, no matter their background, feel welcome and to share and cultivate a love of music.
